## Mission & Values

With broad participation from women across many fields and specialities, **WIM Argentina** takes on the challenge of supporting and accelerating the transformation of the mining industry into a diverse, equitable and increasingly competitive sector.

### Our Principles

- **Sustain an ongoing dialogue** and offer analysis and solutions that advance mining development

- **Build consensus** and a productive group dynamic when acting in WIM’s name and on behalf of all women in mining

- **Build a transparent reputation**, free of partisan alignment, grounded in scientific rigour and recognised across social sectors

- **Deepen the conversation** and develop strategies with women in the sector and in other industries, as well as with men who share WIM’s goals

- **Preserve institutional independence**

- **Respect for a diversity of views**

### What We Are Working Towards

**WIM Argentina** has significant plans for this decade, and aims to:

- **Create groups and gatherings** among women, and shape shared courses of action Act as a bridge between women in the industry and other sectors

- **Make WIM a national point of reference**

- **Contribute to the exchange of knowledge** Creating spaces for reflection and dialogue

- **Help disseminate information** Validated by the scientific community

- Opening new spaces for women in the mining industry

- **Strengthen the identity and leadership** of women in the workplace

- **Build an institutional network** Helping to secure and improve women’s quality of life in mining workplaces

- **Build a network of contacts** Collaborative, joint work

- Upholding the principles and values WIM stands for

- **Contribute to the professional development** of women in the mining industry

- **Take part in and organise** mining events
